Obamathon Lowest Rated Program on Major Network

ABC’s one hour special “Prime-time: Questions for the President: Prescription for America” received the lowest ratings of any program on a major broadcast network. The special focused on President Obama’s socialized healthcare proposal. ABC created a brouhaha when they would not allow a paid rebuttal to Obama’s plans. In true partisan fashion, the network scoffed at anyone who might have a dissenting opinion of the President’s healthcare plan. It appears that they paid the price in the ratings. The program had 4.7 million viewers, which is a 1.1 preliminary for adults aged 18-49. It had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. slot, losing to such huge programs as “The Philanthropist” and a rerun of “CSI: NY” on CBS.
Events such as this are the exact reason that most traditional media outlets are suffering crippling ratings and vanishing advertisers. Networks such as ABC are so blinded by their liberal bias, that they don’t realize that people are just tired of listening to their indoctrination disguised as hard news. The networks will not even consider that the source of their decline though, because it would mean taking an introspective look at their core liberal values, and possibly changing them. Meanwhile, down the tubes they go. Source
